    I used the trans-dapt filter relocation kit and mounted the filter to my fender. I just made sure to keep the hoses as far from the headers as possible. No issues after 2+ years.

    Yes, there are no threads in the connecting plug. I usually give them a little squeeze with pliers if I feel like it's too loose. I don't know about changing the plug though. May be a fire hazard if it sparks? That is something to consider and I just had to replace my tank sending unit because...
