I have seen the aluminum lakewood and while the ease of it seems great I plan on putting slicks on the car and doing some racing at some point and prefer to be as safe as possible when it comes to keeping lower portions of my body haha. Is some of that the tapered potion of the input shaft?

I haven't thought about it before but the copper washers make sense for mounting a plastic tank.

In many ways I'm a climate enthusiast. My Dad always stressed not wasting stuff, reuse and recycle. Pick up litter etc... leave things better for the next person or generation. One car that runs way rich and blows out oil smoke going down the road pollutes a ton, could be 50 times what a proper...
