You will lose Ackerman as well as turning radius no matter who’s kit you buy. They all go to a front steer setup. I run a first generation RMS AlterKtion. Losing the torsion bars is a huge plus, as is the additional adjustability of the caster and camber.

I made a poster board template for the first half and then cut out a scallop style mounting bracket. I’ll drill holes, add nutserts, then weld into place and repeat for the other half.

We weighed it the other day. The right and left are backwards as we had the scales on the wrong sides. Still no doors, fenders, hood or nose and obviously the driveline and turbos so it’s gonna get a lot heavier.
It has a spring loaded release at the top front and the front bar folds in dropping the net. There’s a handle that clips into the release so it’s easily grabbed with gloves on.
Welded up the Cameron Johnson Race Cars window net kit. This tedious little project took most of the day. I went with a vertical kit and bent the bars so they hold the net out of the way. Now to get a net from Stroud.
