Do the facctory 1968 340 exhaust manifolds use the same two studs on the extreme ends (with four other bolts) like the 318 or are the studs eliminated by using six bolts? Thank you.

My 71 340 Cuda had the fender mounted turn signals.....iirc, the Cuda hood blocked the right side signal but the 6 pac hood I put on it for sure did.

Crosspost from FABO, sorry if not allowed or if you've already read it have a 71 340 that's in need of a rebuild, I'm just unsure and kind of worried about doing it myself. It has already been freshly rebuilt, but the guy who last did it mixed and matched parts, it has 30 over stock replacement...

Going to a 340 or 360 head requires more than just putting the heads on it. Because of the chamber volume and port size on the 340/360 heads it will drop the compression ratio on your 318 by 1 point! So if you have a 8.5:1 now, it will have a measly 7.5:1 with the other heads on it.....not...
