    Any Pontiac Fans here???

Another Bachman-Turner Overdrive member who liked Firebirds was Blair Thornton, who had one of the rare (only eight made) 1969 Trans-Am convertibles.

Here is a question for the flat tappet cam guys....

Somehow I missed the Hemi Tick with my truck. I’m at 414,000 miles and aside from a slight tick when cold, (broken exhaust manifold studs) the truck is quiet and still idles like new.

    Any Pontiac Fans here???

I like the Pontiacs. Great looking cars and the Firebirds were great handling too. I’ve owned three. 1972 base model, a 78 Trans Am and 1980 Trans Am. The 1980 model was a sacrilege with a pathetic 301 that made half the power that a Super Duty car did 7 years prior.

Where did you and your car go today

I didn't get a pic because I was being safe, but took the car on a road that turns into a freeway for the first time, and then a side road to try a new top speed. Hold on to your butts, got her up to a tick over 70! Wasn’t bad, not great, but not bad. Next will be a longer drive at those speeds...

Renovation or market for Sun Machines?

Mark at paramount is a expert on the distributor machines, as far as I know the others you really have to troubleshoot yourself to fix them. Oh yeah there are zero repair books out there for them also!

    318 to 440

Didn't think about the torsion bars. My idea was to use everything I can. So it may have crossed my mind during the strip down. My 69 has a 727 auto that's original to the car. When I initially drove it around, the shifts were really soft and slow. Could just be the way it is. I have ZERO...
