    Air bag jack

I bought that exact one for the same purpose as you. It works fine BUT if you jack the car in the middle - like on the diff for example - it will sway to either side. Ideally you should jack one side and use axle stands for support. It lifted the rear of the car effortlessly with on 40 psi...

What Size Brakes Do I Have?

11" rear drum brakes work with stock 1974 14" wheels. I prepared the following table to list part differences. Brake component differences between 10”x2.5” and 11”x2.5” rear drum brakes, 1969 - 1989. Part10” x 2.5” vs 11” x 2.5” DrumDifferent Support (backing plate)Different...

fuel gauge not reading gas at all

On our legacy Mopars (55-75) if one has a fuel guage, water temp and oil pressure guages they have a voltage limiter. The voltage limiter takes the 12VDC and outputs 5VDC. Note all of the mentioned guages are actually a 5VDC guage, and each respective, sensor is a variable resistor adjusting...

    Any Pontiac Fans here???

I believe it started with DeLorean. He and upper GM brass had more than one feud back in the day. Where I believe he had enough of the corporate politics. And found plenty of trouble on his own? The rest is history.

    Any Pontiac Fans here???

Having grown up with these cars and working on them, it's hard NOT to be a Pontiac fan. I remember my buddy showing me a pic of that 73 SD455 when it was introduced. If I had the $$ at the time, it would've been sitting next to my Mopars.

Welcome from the central coast of Cal. When I moved the springs inboard, did mini tubs too, there was no more room for the stock tank. I got one of the 22 gal early stang/universal tanks from Tanks Inc. It's a bit narrower than the stocker. I modified the trunk floor to fit it.

fuel gauge not reading gas at all

Water temperature gauge and fuel gauge are working off the voltage limiter in 66-67's, oil pressure is just a light and a separate circuit. OP says temperature gauge is working, so voltage limiter is good. 90 plus percent of the time fuel gauge problems are sending unit related.

Who's good with out of state speeding tickets, pa driver in md. warning long

I was leaving The NATS bout 6 years ago and they nailed me for 120 in a 65. And I was slowing down lol The LEO had mercy on me and gave me 96 in a 65. Paid the fine without any question and I do not think I got any points etc on my record as we run MVR's every year for anyone in the company on...

Welcome to FBBO from Copenhagen, Ontario, about 125 miles from you on the North shore of Lake Erie. That sounds like a great score for you. Have fun with your new project. For me, the nose on the 1970 Coronet was not Dodge's best work, as it looked too much like a Pontiac. I bought a new...

    Any Pontiac Fans here???

Something I never knew… Just within the last couple of weeks I discovered Pontiac had their own version of what looked like the Corvette. I’m not a Corvette fan personally, but I found this a neat little piece of history I never knew until recently. “The Pontiac Banshee was a concept car...

    Any Pontiac Fans here???

The 9.99 target goal is certainly nothing new. It's actually a narrow window being going under 9.90 is not allowed by most home garage builds due to missing additional required safety measures. My last attempt with a mid 10 sec 451 Duster build with new B1 heads. Now running over 12:1...
