I'm kind of digging the yellow on the car now. I think I would paint the engine bay body color and call it a day. There are a lot of purple cars out there already.....
I've always liked Reggae Music!!! Sadly, Jimmy is now joining the Band in the Heavens...RIP Jimmy...cr8crshr/Bill :praying::praying::praying::usflag::usflag::usflag:
Jimmy Cliff, reggae giant and star of landmark film ‘The Harder They Come,’ dead at 81
I haven’t even looked at the rear springs but I bet they’re moved as well. Would explain the cherry bombs and dump downs. I’d prefer dual exhaust out the back but you’re right I’d probably have to do a fuel cell in the trunk to accommodate that.
Currently yes the tank is rear fill behind the...
I got news for you and everyone else. I actually saw an alien, an extraterrestrial, whatever you prefer to identify it as. A long time ago in my youth. He claims he was from Mars. Before youtube, it was on boob tube.
Did a photo add earlier with the "add photos" button like usual. One was sideways, the other two correct. When using the "insert image" button above, I can do two. More than that, it kicks me out.
Looking at your picture, plus looking on Tank's site, you're still a rear fill like me. For sure, try to rehang it. My reason for what I did was with the relocation of springs, no room for exhaust. It was already too close to the old tank and with springs being moved, no way.
You can fabricate a tab for the spring, shouldn't really matter which ever spring works. Had to make a tab for my scattershield, attached with the bell crank pivot bolt. If your application doesn't have a place for the spring. Your spring may have broken, that's why things fell apart.
Each year of the service manuals show the paint mix. Our painter will take the code numbers and have the paint supply shop mix samples. That is what was done with our car.
Don’t know if PPG would have the engine paint formula though.
Didn’t pay enough attention. Jerry has it in the bag. As...
I’d love to, but from my minimal research seems like it’s not a simple task. Is there any conversion kits out there? Doesn’t have to be oem stuff, wouldn’t mind a kit where I can use aftermarket gauges.
One step forward, two steps back....... I had most everything where I wanted it, so I went to permanently install the trunk pans. I had bought 2 piece ones several years ago before I knew I'd be into it this far. They looked and fit like garbage. No matter how much I tried, they just didn't fit...
I wish I knew how to send pics. My so. Did anything I had posted in the past. But I do have what appears to be a factory idiot light that says oil pressure above it next to the Alternator gauge. It is on the right side next to the Alt. Gauge.
All of the above!
One week after my 60th, I had a heart attack (just cashed my first pension cheque). Fortunately, it was caught early and required angio-plasti and stents. I'll second the regular colonoscopy as well.
