Across the 3rd gen years, 71 and 72 Plymouth b bodys look much better then the 73 and 74's. In my opinion. The 73 and 74 chargers have a nicer looking c pillar design then the 71 and 72 chargers, again my preference.

my understanding is it is really all about ring seal . Which is why they use a low tension/thinner (?) ring set. Less ring drag but vacuum assists with seal . Mild side effect is potential to reduce oil weepage/leakage . Motor must be built to take best advantage of it .

Thanks! I know my motors are good, tested them multiple times. The headlight hold switch appears to be working based on my volt meter continuity test. I think just about the only other part of the system is the microswitches. Wouldn't be surprised if one is just on it's last legs.
