    Hideaway headlights electrical motors

Those actuators need limit control switches. If they travel to far they will tear the plastic door mounts and stops off. They were also designed with a control box that worked off the limit switches. You have a lot of work ahead of you to try to fab everything up.

WTB Steel 18 spline alignment tool

Anyone have a steel 18 spline alignment tool they are willing to sell? An input shaft with a trashed gear would also work. Thanks Andy

    Any Pontiac Fans here???

Well, I have more Mopar-only time than you, and that will never end. I do enjoy all the other American machinery having been surrounded by it all since my youth.

What Size Brakes Do I Have?

From my memory, the 2 things that you can't buy new for rear 11" brakes are the backing plates and the E brake strut. But there really is no reason to swap anyway unless just for looks.

    Hideaway headlights electrical motors

Excited to finally hook up these hideaway headlights. Not an electrician, so this is a little bit of foreign territory, but I believe I’m going down the right path by going with a double-pole, double-throw switch that will allow polarity/reverse polarity both to push and pull the actuator...

    Current 73-74 Road Runner Values

I ended up using 2003 Chevy Suburban doors to patch my rear quarter lowers. Same curvature on the bottom of the doors as the quarters.

69 4 speed transmission cross member

Could be the wrong year/model mount. If the auto mount works, use it! If I remember correctly there were two different long tailstocks - with the mounts in different locations. Maybe E bodies and/or '71 and up ??

    Winter plans for the Roadrunner

For sure It's about ring seal. Assists with ring flutter and helps the ring seal in the piston groove. Pumping loss due to reduced crankcase pressure is an additional benefit. You won't find a high end wet sump engine without one if it's allowed by rules. Doug

WHAT IS YOUR SKILL SET WORTH?

WHAT IS YOUR SKILL SET WORTH? He solved in 5 minutes what 50 engineers couldn't fix in 5 days—then sent a bill that made Henry Ford's jaw drop. The year was 1920. A colossal electric generator at one of Henry Ford's manufacturing plants had gone silent, and with it, an entire production line...
