Interesting that the sign says "Fiberglass Corvette Repairs" but all the bodies showcased outside are Mopar.

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

yeah something a bit over a stock 6pack is about what im after, 400HP/500 TQ at the crank. I just keep finding A LOT of conflicting information about what the actual specs of the 6 pack cam were.

    Can’t believe it’s mine.

That’s my preference! Give me the base model, slant six car for cheap so I can build it how I want. IMO that’s real hot rodding lol. Now there are definitely cars that deserve to be restored period correct & as oem as possible, but I have no desire to own one of those.

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

I'd guess 1000-5000 (or less) Remember, a 390hp Sixpack 440 made peak power (or at least, was RATED at) 4700 rpm.

    8 year old new tires.

I agree. No sense replacing tires before body and paint is done.

    Medicare Part D PSA

Thanks for giving us all the heads up, I see the commercial for it all the time on the tv. Yes I’m only 25 and too young to be on this but I am with my transplant as it was required for the surgery, but I am all set and I got my card already!

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

I think you'll be happier with the Hughes 216-220 for your usage. And I'd make sure of the max on the source heads, not "think".

WHAT IS YOUR SKILL SET WORTH?

During my four decades in the tank truck business, I soon figured out that the top 10% of drivers generated the bulk of the profits. The process was driven by the ability to unload difficult cargo in a timely manner, and thus increase the percentage of loaded miles within regulatory and customer...

Don't miss it. Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals.

OK, fair enough but not my cup 'o tea. I grew up with those bloated **** boxes and they don't inspire many fond memories. I can appreciate some later offerings like the Fox body cars, '78-'82 Malibus, Grand Nationals and even the turbo GLH cars but for the most part those '73-up cars were...

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

$300 for JUST a chevy grind mopar cam, no lifters? Not a chance in.... well, you know. I'd buy a Summit grind 10 times first.

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

This ones got a bit more lift, im wanting to stay under the threshold of what the springs that come with the 440 stealth heads can handle. and i deff dont want anything that will kill bottom end since most of my driving is done from a stop to around 4000. i think the max is .510 on the stealth...

    8 year old new tires.

I only plan on using the car to run errands close to the house. That will also help me find and work out the bugs. In fact I just notice today the speedometer is whirring and now I can add that to the list. I don't feel comfortable taking it on a highway as of yet. I think once the body work is...

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

Nothing wrong with a chevy grind if that's what you want. It won't take advantage of the big diameter mopar lifter...... but it won't be noisy, like some aggressive mopar lifter grinds are.
