I had a local do my Charger 2 years ago, worked out well. Insurance paid so I don't know the price, but I'm looking at $400 plus installation right now.

Gene Wilder ate wax in Willy Wonka. For the tea time scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the “candy” flower cup that Gene Wilder chomped on was actually made of wax. Additionally, the chocolate river was made of actual water, chocolate, and cream that spoiled throughout shooting.

    8.25 rearend Strong enough?

Stick shift: no ALWAYS street tires, mild gear, stock (ish) converter. Okay ....probably. Driven like an idiot teenager (or me)? Might be time for an upgrade. Run ten year old t/a radials, it'll last forever. My opinion only.

Play-Doh was initially invented to remove soot and dirt from wallpaper. In fact, antique restorers still use it for refurbishing antique pieces. However, Play-Doh was officially recognized as a toy in 1954.

My friend advised me to pour a crankcase full of old oil on the floor.

What in the world are you getting at?

    8.25 rearend Strong enough?

I have tortured some 8 1/4 rear ends behind big block engines. In my younger, dumber days, I damaged one by doing an extended one-wheel burnout, which caused the axle and pinion gears to fail. If you're not doing dumb stuff like this, you will be fine.

    Sickening- Cracked Block - Repairable?

Back when I was dead broke in the late 70's I did this same repair. A 64 Fairlane wagon with a straight six and a cracked block running up the side to the deck. Wire wheeled off the paint and glopped it up with JB. It held fine and didn't leak for three years till I sold the car.
