    Welding out the last cage….

You guys are all inspiring! It’s really great to hear guys still having fun and producing nice work into their 70’s. Hopefully me someday! I’m 59, and the eyes aren’t what they used to be. But I’m more inspired today to take my time and produce good work than ever before.

My friend advised me to pour a crankcase full of old oil on the floor.

You can't weld on oil, can't paint on oil, can't even use the usual acid type rust converters on oil. So, you will spend a bunch of time and effort removing a bunch of dirty oil off of...

interior sail panel board does it have clips?

Adding on to Dave's thread. The pic below is what I'm 99% sure was holding my sail panels in place. My sail panels are light brown and warped. I didn't see any remnants of covering on them, so I'm assuming they were uncovered. Looking online the "uncovered" ones are all one color (dark) - does...

    Leaf Springs 1964 Dodge Polara - B-Body

The Hotchkis, as you know, are based off of 66-72 b-bodies. The 62-65 cars use a different spring length, especially from the center bolt forward and back[ I believe]. If you want to run the Hotchkis, or any other 66- spring, Firm Feel and Mancini have front spring hangers made by AR Engineering...
