Yup. Last day of August for me as well....and no, it wasn't entirely a choice in my case; more like a
physically mandated thing, regretfully.
Well over 40 years in the discipline as well - all that experience and expertise is now null and void.
I hear ya.
Just so y'all up there know it ain't all one-sided, this costly over the border stuff....
I just received my 2026 calendar from Cold War Motors (a YT channel) that cost $20 for the calendar itself...
and close to $45 in shipping to get it here (bulk of which was Canada postal).:eek:
The "standard" answer here:
275/60/15 on the rear on 15x8 chrome Magnum 500's
225/70/15 front on 15x7 Magnums
These cars just look right with 15" wheels, nothing bigger - and the Mangums, even though never

Agreed. I've been lucky in that I've only had one cam/lifter failure (440 engine, hydraulic cam) - and despite
all the usual protocols being followed (and using some of the fantastic Driven (Joe Gibbs Racing) high ZDDP
break-in oil, the COMP cam/lifter combo wiped a couple lobes in fairly short...
The underlying thing with this issue to me is simple:

way (all dino, of course)...
Man, right at the worst time...right at rotation.:(
Incredibly, I guess they tried to get it airborne enough to find a way back down under control??
No other options....incredibly sad.
Mostly all local events (crusie-ins and such) for Fred; not really major shows, but the downtown monthly
cruise-ins are supposedly for '80 and back cars (depends on who you are, come to find out).
The local "clique" bias is in full effect though - and even though all participants who register...
I know, I'm late to the party. Apologies, I've been absent a lot lately (reasons) - but WOW!
SERIOUS congrats, Mark. What a find!
I do so love me some unflucked-with old Mopars.
Now, if I can only keep this news secret from Fred....
Ut oh:
"NO, FRED! She's far too refined and pedigreed for a...
"...when performed well."
Sadly, that's about always the caveat in about anything these days, isn't it?
If you aren't one, haven't had reason to deal with one much and don't hang out with them, how is the typical working
class schlub supposed to know when a lawyer he's picked (from word of...
