    Totally get what you're saying . I was referring to the top/ bottom being in and out. Getting those 68-70 doors bodyworked and aligned properly is way harder than a 66-67. IMO.

    Lots of the time that adapter is not needed. Just wire direct.

    Well they will close and then sit nice if you hold them out, but not if the striker is set with the seal missing.

    Dash pad has a crack in it. No rear interior back glass trim.

    I'm biting my tongue,, but yes they should close perfectly without the seals.. :) Edit; will amend this, as far as alignment gaps.. but not the final in / out of the rear of the door

    Take a fridge magnet... Doors will never sit correct without seals in place. Push the handle button in and hold them flush with the quarters and see how they look.
