Mopar high torque starter electrical connection clearance issues. Is there a brand of these that is better?

Hey you guys, this is something that I run into every now and then. With 383 and 440. Sometimes you get a high torque starter, and there's no clearance issues, and then there's other times where the electrical dog leg connector hitting right up against the block. I don't understand what the...

Possible to remove rear glass and re-use gasket?

Thanks all! I was hoping to save the original gasket because I thought I read somewhere that the 65 and older reproduction gaskets and glass are TERRIBLE. my windshield is cracked and needs replacing too since I’m replacing the cowl. Just when you seem to get everything working...

Don’t blame you there one bit. I’m the same way. Happy you found the issue before spending bunch of money for port work. Maybe this will cost you less in the long run. Get new heads that are pressure checked, ported, valve job, guide fit, and you may pick up the power you’re looking for.

You can see here with the intake lid removed. The valve covers come off easily with no distributot removal...

USPS is struggling lately it appears

Complaining about shipping (USPS)(?), wife shipped a dbl-boxed & plenty of packing of a 50+yr old doll. Believe me,she knows damage can occur. But, when you pick up a box that probably weighs less than 6#; why let let something fall on it that obviously weighs a lot more???? Sadly, customer...

    Hood pin location '70 GTX/RR

Well they have to match the rad support bolt holes. Which would suggest that a Superbird is no different. I'll try to remember to measure tomorrow... day 3 of food poisoning, so don't hold your breath on that.
