Never seen those. I did get the Asian girls with legs spread on the mcdonalds counter for a little while. That was years ago.

I still have some of her insignia. I also have a surplus store (back when they actually sold surplus) Korean era Army Air Corps flight cap. Dang, I just realized I forgot collecting "vintage militaria". ...and "counterfeit (illegal sales promo)" and oddball currency.

My street car weighs 3885 with me. Runs 11.0's. 4.30 gear with homemade leaf springs using the leaf pac on the stock main leaf from a Hemi GTX. 10.5x28 M/T. Never spins. Now has 9 way adjustables on rear making it quicker in 60ft, 1.53. Doug

1- Push buttons are "super cool". 2- A gear vendors OD will allow you to keep it and likely be less of an installation issue than a trans with built in OD. 3- I believe a FABO member installed a more modern OD trans (A999?) in a duster with few mods. 4- Lockup converter? 5- Pre 1968, a 2.94...

What's the best slick for 4K 11.5 second car

I'm currently running 10.5x28 mickeys that need replacing, with 10x28 hoosiers ready to go. If I were you.... I'd try the Mickey Pro Bracket Radials (slicks, not drag radials) 10.5x28, or 10.5x29.5, depending on room and gear. X5 compound.

    Any Pontiac Fans here???

As much as a love the look of those "8 lug" wheels... ...even in the late 1970's/early 80's is wasn't super easy to find them. My mom's first car was a 59 bonneville, around 1975. Kind of an odd idea having the brake drum be an integral part of the wheel. Probably good for heat dissipation.

For all of You Train Lovers

Yeah, that's a huge issue. I finally narrowed my scope to 1948 PRR. Xenia line ran near my house. More readily available prototype correct models. Can run steam (including some real oddballs and some from other roads) and almost all available first gen diesels (again including some real...

Looks like they did a fairly credible job replicating that in miniature. Likely a transition era version, though. Is that small thing in the middle of mine, the tool holder?
