There were a few different head marking styles used on the flex plates to crankshaft bolts, but they are interchangeable. The following images shows the bolts and different head markings:

I installed a GV unit on a 727 in my 67 Coronet with 3.23 ratio. If you have 2.76 or 2.94, you should be good without an OD. Should be around 2,000 rpm @60mph.

It looks like it goes to a point. I'm basing this off of using a steel ruler across the face against a light source. I don't have feeler gauges in the house to measure it right now.
