I don't remember seeing this in the old days??

Ya I wonder why that never took off. Solves that age old 3 pedals 2 feet problem.

What was the first car you remember falling in love with?

I would have been 13 when a local bought a new '66 Mustang. Powder blue, 4 speed and he promptly put 4 chrome reverse wheels on it. Lookin' at that car we thought life couldn't get any better!

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I think so. One of the very first times I rode a bike out on the road, all by myself, I came up to a steel deck bridge spanning a moderate river. Not at all confidence inspiring. Glad there was no one following me, as I sat there for a few minutes and then proceeded just fast enough to keep...

    Gear Vendors on a A833

Is that the unit they redid the gear ratios on to match a 727? I'm running an 833 OD and find I have to do a LOT of cross gate 2-3 3-2 shifting. Wondering if the new ratios help this. By chance is there a comparison of the std 833 and Passion Hemi OD ratios?

What was the first car you remember falling in love with?

My Sr in high school car. A $200 GTO. 389 4-Speed. I put in a clutch. A rear-end. Upgraded intake and carb. And that car awoke. I terrorized the rich kids late 70s Trans Ams and Cameros. I beat that car into the ground. I've never owned another. But I do catch myself entertaining the idea. My...

New purchase, Plymouth but not a B body

For some reason there are two electric fuel pumps. Think I will go with the engine fuel pump. A custom aluminum radiator is ordered to replace the old original radiator. New tires are next and then new exhaust.

    Old T-Birds, who likes them

t bird did a good job of out covevetting the corvette those first 3 years. gm chose to stay the course despite mediocre sales while ford repurposed. ...and the rest, as they say, is history.

Bonus "upskirt" on the right! I went through a "white pants" phase in the 80's. Must have been borderline dumb. Landy and S&M OTOH certainly confident.

New purchase, Plymouth but not a B body

The 327 is out and apart. Mice were in the clutch and had been in the heads sitting on the valves. It is getting rebored, the camel back heads all rebuilt and new ss valves and new springs. A new clutch also. It had dome pistons but I will go with regular pistons. Still thinking it will be...

    Alternator charging problem

Do you have any big current draw items? 13.5v is pretty normal but 10v is low even at idle. The alternator just can't produce enough for some reason. I'd be okay with 12.5-13.0 at idle. You have a fully charged good battery?

It looks like Chris Birdsong has been bitten by the third generation Charger bug!

I too am warming to Gen IIIs. Especially the Charger. I've never owned one. Only Gen II Plymouths. I'm not going out of the way to hunt, but if I ran across? I wouldn't have any buyer's remorse. (Come to think of it. I've never had "Buyer's Remorse." Selling? Every single time!)
