Installing Hydroboost and bigger brakes in a 1970 Charger

On my GTX the pressure line from the pump goes to the port nearest to the accumulator, pressure out to the steering gear is on the opposite side. The return is low pressure and ties into the PS return line using a T fitting. The return from the hydro boost has to be connected to the vertical...

I don't remember seeing this in the old days??

I'm guessing overheated clutches and the amount of coordination required were the downfall. Definitely too many things for my brain to keep track of.

What was the first car you remember falling in love with?

I really liked the cool styling and interesting features of my mom's first car, a 1959 pontiac bonneville. Then I really loved the sculpted slab sides, thick doors, power windows, and upside down reflective horn button center on her next car, a 1967 Newport 383-2. As I approached driving age...

I don't remember seeing this in the old days??

HI, Yes.. because you can let the clutch out some to load the rear end so it doesn't get that hard shock.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I love metal grates under a motorcycle. Just let it "walk", it'll come back. And the view through the decking can't be beat! I crossed Big Mac years ago and spent most time looking at the boats on the water underneath! My (now ex-) wife was beating on my shoulders and trying to get me to move to...

Rear valence picture. It can be seen in the picture where the shackles are in relation to the cutouts in the rear valance pan. It will require some surgery to make it look correct.

    The Surrogate Mother!

It's cold as hell out here, but I am going to try to get out there and do something to the car this weekend. I noticed that because the rear springs have been moved inboard to the rear frame rails that the exhaust tips have to be moved over about an inch on each side to clear the rear shackles...
