Nice stash! You could keep Bubbles (Trailer Park Boys) employed for a couple of years. Fill them all up and you'd have around 42 billion dollars worth of groceries.

Dumb question but what harnesses do I need

Personally I would find someone parting out a 4dr so post a Parts Wanted ad and you could probably get nice OEM stuff cheaper... Especially the dash harness.

Yeah, the block really needs to be checked. The one picture in #20 of the piston tells me it had a blank high dome machined for the valve clearance. It was raced.

Dumb question but what harnesses do I need

Not a dumb question. M&H brand which used be from year one only. Harnesses as per pnora plus and optional ones like A/C etc… If it was me I’d look for descent used ones unless you’re doing some concours resto or something. Main harness is pricey, around $800 usd. Be about 1500 cdn shipped...

What was the first car you remember falling in love with?

Actually, there were 3 vehicles: First in the Spring of 1968, I was 12 and saw my first 1968 Corvette. Probably black in color. Second in the late Summer of 1969 my neighbor gave me a ride in his new 1970 Challenger. Lime green, 383 magnum...

Well THIS was exciting... and unexpected... and dangerous!!!

Exactly! Chicom pickers and engine stands have little safety margin. Don’t compromise the structure by jury rigging it. Those straps can probably support 1000 lbs in tension. The fact that your picker failed on a 318 should be cause for pause and reflection!
