The car is not a basket case, the engine bay, firewall, all the frame rails, rocker panels, tortion bars crossmember, cowl and sunroof roof are perfect. It needs the typical trunk floor, partial floor pans, rear quarter panels, trunk extensions, rear valance and corners, and possibly a Dutch panel...
...don’t have)Has 383 and 727 torqueflite. Hi-po manifolds, Mopar performance electronic ignition. Posi 8 3/4” rear end. Rear sway bar. Factory sunroof new seals, rear defrost, power windows. Factory Floor ratchet shifter. I have 3 hoods for it. Factory flat hood, power bulge hood and the one...
I see in addition to the big block:
Pass side color keyed rallye mirror
Power windows
Sunroof
AC (missing compressor)
Buckets and arm rest.
Fender tag.
Fairly loaded car in nice colors.
The Bulbous part goes up on the front 3/4 of the roof. With the back 1/4 having the gasket attached to the panel. There is also a water gasket on the flat part of the panel under the roof. Find the Chassis service manual for 71 72 even 73 and it shows the gaskets.
I have a 74 sunroof car, but no fender tag. Sucks because I know it is rare. It was originally a 318 3 speed manual which according to registry less than 800 produced with that motor tranny combo. Take into account the sunroof and I am sure its rare.
I found and read the manual sunroof 101 but it didn’t help as his finish panel was gone, however the sunroof registry was what I was after. Everything I need to know and all the service manual stuff is in there. Thanks. Your a lifesaver.
I've not really posted much here, but I put my 'sunroof' up yesterday. Then I realized I had no pictures with the top up. So, here we are.
Kinda ironic, but in NC this top goes up in the summertime. Fall & Winter? Yup, the top comes down.
Anyone? Can anyone at least tell me if the sunshade is fixed to the sunroof and slides back and forth with the sunroof or is it independent and can manually be slid back and forth? This is a manual sunroof
Wow I wish that wasn't half way across the country. I couldn't afford to restore that, but I could save it and make it turn heads to keep it in circulation! The price is right!
What is the VON on the fender tag?
Sounds like a car with all kinds of cool options added. Orange seats even.
The electric ones are American Sunroof. With many parts from Golde; a German sunroof company.
Is the new sheetmetal it needs included in the sale?
Define Loaded ?
Besides PW and sunroof mentioned
Just for some kind of comparison. And yes Im aware this is not the best comparison not being a sunroof car
But I know of a 1968 RT , 440 , console 4spd, originally was a 3.54 Dana car...
