I remember those valve covers that I used on my '65 Valiant four-door 273 bracket racer back in the '70's (sold the vehicle in 1980 to the now famous Renteria Brothers).
We were supposed to go spectate in August but didn't make it. Trying to get my 13 year old nephew out to watch. But, he is like a lot of kids nowadays..has lots going on. Still want to go though! Post ahead of time when your taking your car..!
I had a GpZ750 for 35 years and my instruction to my wife was stay in line with the bike at all times. That keeps her weight neutral. If I lean into a corner, I don't need a second body leaning. It takes time and trust for a passenger to let the rider control the bike.
Well, based on The question in the first post and picture it looks good to run.
But now that I see the last post here and before picture I like that too. They did a good job of replicating the textured look it would have had from the factory, just a titch too shiny, but I would have run it...

Those are hyd flat tappet,no?
The Daytona wing and nose add their own issues. 1200lbs of lift on the nose per engineering paperwork until the under nose spoiler is sorted out. Aaron Brown at The Gatage Shop spun their Daytona until they sorted out the cars rake. Remember, no traction out there.
I have already talked to...
Well I’ll let you know cause I’m trying to figure this out. A drawing would be nice but I don’t have my FSM right now. You have a 440 as well so I think vapor lock might be an issue for you too.
That's what I was getting at. The 73 tank has 4 nipples for the vent/vapor lines to goto the fuel separator so if yours doesn't have them I'm going to say this isn't going to work for you. I am a little curious now how a 74 would be designed for the charcoal cannister. This system was...
