So it must be a trim level upgrade - option for your car. That means the tail section sheet metal would have been stamped with holes....not drilled at a Dealership later on.
Not relevant here ion this thread....but a '70 has the Air Grabber hoses going through this hole below the ballast resistor -non A/G cars have a dimple to mark the spot.
They will get theirs from you anyway they can. Whether it’s commercials or subscription fees. Me ill listen to their stupid commercials and laugh they squeezing my pocket book.
Is your car definitely a Road Runner, and not a Sport Satellite? IT may be that your car has an extra trim package that mine didn't.
