4a- Start bleeding furthest from the master cylinder first. RR, LR, RF, LF. A spongy pedal is usually air in the system. Does the pedal improve if you pump it a couple times? If so, it's air.

Especially condensers. The new ones are garbage. I run points in my dual point in my 66. I get my tune up parts from Halifaxhops and yes I have bought extras. I have a simple Pertronix in mysingle point 70 distributor. It has been flawless for years.
Looks like a 440 according to the oil filter location. Poor photo of the top of the engine but it looks like the distributor in angled and in the front.
