Watched Blazing Saddles for about the 8th time last night....

Thanks! But not really all that quick as I kept things on the quiet side at first.....wanted to make sure things were....well, real. Like I mentioned, I didn't really care for it when it first came out. I was 23 when it first came out and didn't really care all that much for it....plus wasn't...

Where did you and your car go today

That's my Saleen behind my Coronet at a car show. The last one before it left. It won and my Coronet got nothing. The plaque for the win went with the car. In my heart, Cora is always a winner. To me a new Mustang is just that, new, prove nothing.

    1971 Charger R/T identification

I bought that car on the weekend. It's rough but I didn't pay much. It has a R/T VIN but a salvage title. The roof was completely F**cked up by a moron replacing a sunroof with a patch. It has a Dana 60 in it with HXD springs ( extra leaf on passenger side). I got an extra set of buckets and...

    65 BB 4spd wagon

Do you have measurements for placing the trans hump in the correct spot? Maybe pix of the floor hole? I have a welder and could fix my f/up but I'd like to at least get close on the first attempt! My Coronet 500 was an auto console car.

    Are you a narcissist?

In an earlier life I was corporate lawyer, and narcissism is a basic requirement for that job. My human resources manager once gave me what she considered a compliment, said I was extremely good at acting like I cared about people, when it was a productive strategy. In my defense, I have really...

1977 cordoba Brake lights no worky

Your bulb test was backwards (polarity reversed). The outer metal shell of the light bulb is negative. The two soldered posts on the bulb are each running light and brake light. Since it's just a filament the bulb will light with polarity swapped which is what you did. But it's not how they...

Ammeter bypass (or whatever you call it)

I disagree on the ammeter, my ammeter in my 70 is constructed exactly the same as my 75 truck, studs pushed thru a strap. That connection can get loose and cause heat, just reaching g up behind a dash with a wrench and tightening it is a bad idea, 2 wrenches so you do not stress the connection...
