    I went to single 4 bbl on my 472 Hemi 65. Being a street car only the AVS2 800 worked very well. Took away a mid range surge during cruising speeds that was present with the AFB 750 that I had started out with.

    Bad vibes !

    U-joints most often will show red rust powder around the caps. Many times they will start to squeak too. As stated above check all mounts, engine and transmission isolators.

    I agree. 1965 the Savoy was no longer and the Belvedere I took it's place.This is just speculation, Ma Mopar wanted just a bit more bling defining it up scale from the Savoy.

    426 wedge

    1965 if you are talking about the Street Wedge. Possible late 64 but I've seen them most often 65. Some hung around early 66, very rare. 1964 for the Max Wedge 426. Ma Mopar used what ever was left over. Mopar Collector's Guide had a article on a 66 Coronet 426 street wedge.
