Not a truck. Not a two-tone paint scheme car. Not a vinyl top car. No a/c. Driver's door mirror only. I am a big Richard Petty fan. I can't endlessly recite his racing statistics, but I am a big fan.

‘72 Coronet side window adjustment frustration!

Beyond frustrated trying to get my front side glass adjusted. ‘72 Coronet. Car was completely disassembled, so I’m not sure if I’m missing parts, installed them incorrectly, etc. The factory service manual is no help. I’ve tried every possible adjustment combo. Both windows have huge back and...

Possible Repro Fuel Sender Good Candidate? We shall see...

Mitchel motor parts, 20 years ago, that sending unit could have been NOS as I think that's what they mostly sold then, or excellent used. Maybe there were good reproductions, but 20 years ago most of my 66-67's didn't need a replacement.

    Hvac

you can quickly cause yourself a much higher bill for repair doing something wrong than hiring an ac pro to just fix a simple transformer replacement! AC has a lot of detail to make it work right and continue to work right! without putting gauges on a system even a pro wouldn't know if it's...

Possible Repro Fuel Sender Good Candidate? We shall see...

Interesting as the one in my 66 is a repop from Mitchel Motor parts about 20 years ago. And I have to say its dead nuts accurate full and empty. I ran it down to dang near dead empty. Right on the E And to fill it took just over 17 gallons. Gauge was right over top of the F Supposed to be a...

'71 road runner 8 3/4 Rear Axle Seals & Drum Brake Hardware Kit

Do you think that that axle seal inside of the housing is the culprit, or the axle flange gasket? You said that your wheel cyl was leaking, are you sure that you have an oil leak or residue from the wheel cyl leak. Regular axle bearings or green type bearings?

Apologies if this doesn't quite belong here. Does anyone have any recommendations for shops that deal with metal work/restoration for these cars (specifically a 69' Satellite) near Chicago? The car needs some extensive work done, including frame work. The car is already stripped down to bare...
