I recently sold my 4 post to my friend who has a lot more room than me and only lives 10 minutes away when I need to use it. We didn't want to disassemble the whole thing, move it and then have to reassemble it. After some careful measuring, we put it on a flat bed. Here is how we did it -
Does anyone know the owner of this 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye nicknamed The General? It was on John Clay Wolf’s video at Texas Motor speedway. Trying to contact the owner to see if it’s for sale.

It’s no secret that 1968–70 Chargershave long been a favorite among muscle car collectors, but they’ve seen a recent drop...
I was at a car show the other day noticing how all the owners are getting older like me. Even most of the crowd was at least mid 30’s. I truly believe our classic and muscle cars are not going to be as important to the next few generations, much like the street rods have faded with interest and...
Swapping out an oil pan and tube on a 1977 440 and having a trouble with the correct oil pick up tube. I had a Moroso deep pan and I’m installing a 440/Hemi pan with a Melling 63-S3 which should be correct. However, the thread size on the old pick up is considerably larger. Does anyone know if a...
Heading out soon on a 271 mile roadtrip from Denver to Creede, CO for their annual car show. To me, the drive is the fun part and to make it more enjoyable I try to prep the car and pack tools/supplies for issues that may come up along the way. Besides a AAA card and cell phone, what you do in...
The other day at the end of a show I was watching all the owners of these beautiful classic and muscle cars close their hood in different ways. Some just drop the hood from 2'+ up, some slam it, and others gently close it. I have always slowly closed it to the safety latch and then just push it...
Driving my '68 Charger (383 ci) home last night and all of a sudden 1 backfire and then another huge backfire and a big cloud of black smoke out the back! The engine immediately dies and I'm able to pull off the highway. I check for fuel, spark, and crank it a couple of times and more backfire...
On my '68 Charger I recently changed out the leaking rear brake solenoids, adjusted the drum brakes, and replaced the leaking o-rings on the steering box valve. I had the front end in the air with the car running and tapped the valve until the front wheels stayed straight. Everything seemed to...
Looking to buy a Firm Feel stage 2 or 3 power steering box. They are months out so I thought I would reach out here to see if anyone has an extra to sell.
Tom at Rocket Restorations in Olympia, WA is putting up his '70 Superbird for sale. Numbers match transmission. Originally white, now orange. For price and more info contact Tom@rocketresto.com.
I was having a discussion with a couple friends on when doing a burnout with an automatic car is it best to do it in D, 1 or 2? This is for an auto shift transmission, not a manual valve body. I've seen on here opinions all over the place. Today I watched this video from John Cope, whom I...
If you had an option to add air conditioning to a big block car, would you? How much hp would you lose? How is initial investment and maintenance cost (ac unit, pulleys, belts, hoses, charging annually)? And in the end, is it worth it?
I watched some of the game and caught the various boring commercials, some that made no sense or were way over my head. I did like the Harrison Ford Jeep and Carl's Jr free burger commercials.
