    Static proof gas tank

    Hey, All. I cleaned up my gas tank and the tube that accepts the fuel hose and goes through the license plate. Does this tube need to be static proofed? I think I read that it was from the factory. I've read that people have used tinning butter for this. Thoughts?

    Dimmer switch

    Got brand new carpet, and don't have my old one to refer to regarding positioning. Do I just cut a hold in my new carpet and push the dimmer switch through? Is there a piece that goes around the switch to prevent it hanging up on the carpet or anything? Thanks :headbang:

    fuel tank sending unit/fuel gauge ground strap
