I installed a 440 source billet distributor, PN 117-1000. The difference is no vacuum advance on the 440 Source unit. I have it wired in using the Chrysler orange box ECU and it will occasionally fire off when I release the key to the Run position, but not in Start. WTH?? Now when it does fire...
This is the cable connector inside the trans that connects the cable to the inner shift lever or "rooster comb". Does anyone know who sells parts like this? The spring is broken on mine. Thanks
I understand you remove the allan screw on the trans-side park mechanism to access the release spring for the cable. Do I need to completely drain the transmission first to remove the cable?
I just bought a 64 Polara. It has a 383 2bbl and an auto trans. Looks like a Sure Grip rear but the owner can't tell me much other than it's the original engine, trans and rear end. Everything rebuilt but never started after rebuilding. Project got shelved. The VIN and fender tag are attached...
I installed a shroud with an electric fan. It was 108 degrees F here yesterday, and this is as high as my gauge got. It was driven and then left to idle. Too high????
