Since I had the dash all apart on my 70 coronet to change the dashpad. I decided to install a RTE voltage limiter. The limiter that was in the dash had a ground wire soldered to it. I looked up the install manual from RTE and they don't mention anything about needing this. I assume somewhere...
Since I have my dash apart to install a new dash pad. I'm going to install the reverse light that was missing. Found the lower dash panel is not original to my car. From the back side you can see it was original green. And my interior is black. So somewhere along the way the lower dash panel has...
I picked up a set of AMD door hinges to replace the worn out one's on my 71 Road Runner while at at Carlisle. I was planning to paint them before installation. The hinges appear to be plated/galvanized. What's the best way to prep them so the paint will adhere properly.
There was a white chrysler Newport 9 passenger wagon red interior, forsale at Carlisle last weekend. It was in the swap meet area row O close to the end of the row. Asking price was in 30k range. I saw it early friday morning, didn't have my phone on me to take pictures. Seller wasn't around at...
On my 70 Coronet 4 speed with power brakes. If the car been sitting let say over night or more. I start the car, put it gear and pull it out the garage, the first time I press the brakes there is no power assist. If I move the car and hit the brakes again they operate perfectly. I can drive...
We all seen mopars given away for raffle tickets with donation going to various charities. Has any FBBO member won one of these raffle cars? Anyone has become a member after winning one of these cars? I'm not questioning if the raffles are legit. I just wonder what happens to most of these cars...
Our son was working at a guys house, replacing the roof. He asked the owner about a car under a cover in the garage. Turns out it's a 340 4 speed dart that's been sitting there since 1985. Our son showed the owner a few pictures of my cars. The owner said he would consider selling it. So our son...

Looking for what it costs to rechrome a front bumper. The front bumper of my 70 Coronet is in nice condition, no rust, or dents. I can calculate the shipping . But what should I expect (ball park) to pay to have the chrome done.
I have put a little over 500 miles on my convertible in the last year. I was always a littled worried since the paint had no scratches or dents. Last time I drove it was Labor day weekend to the east side of the island to a car show. About 80 miles round trip.
Pulled the car out today to go for...
My 1970 Coronet convertible driver side sunvisor looks like someone tried to repair it with one of those vinyl repair kits they used to advertise on TV back in the 80's.
I ordered new sunvisors, and a new convertible to warning decal since mine is on the sunvisor.
All the parts web sites say...

If I remove my console door it will fit, but I think I missing something. I don't see a way to secure it to the console body...
The other day I noticed the trunk lid on my 70 coronet, the left side corner by the hinge has a hole punched in it. But the right side does not. I thought maybe it was a factory error. But searching FBBO, every picture of a 70 coronet has only a hole on the left side. Anyone know a reason for...
