Misplaced my front shocks at some point during the restoration, ordered a new set. I don't have the lower mounting bolts that mount shocks to control arms, didn't know if someone knew the size off-hand. I could most likely guess and be fine but thought I'd throw it out there .....
I swear I see no difference in the inner and outer ends that I have ordered in the past (other than thread direction). Seems I remember a difference on an older A body I restored a few years ago ?
Looks like the two mounts and related bushings are the only attachment points for the crossmember that retains the aft end of the bars (best I can see without the car in the air) ? Mine are looking pretty dry rotted and doing a suspension rebuild (front LCA's are off) and now would be the time !
The plates that bolt to the K frame that the upper control arm and upper shock assembly bolts to - 4 bolts , can't seem to find the torque specs anywhere (nor the description of this plate). Thanks.
In doing searches , I'm getting various info. Could anyone tell me the torque specs for the 4 K frame bolts on my 73 RR with rubber bushings ? Rebuilding the entire front end , have found "most" of the specs. Thanks.
