These are relatively cheap, but aftermarket companies want a day's wages to ship them. Does any have a couple of these gas vent tube grommets floating around? 68-71 B bodies, and I believe the E bodies use them too. Thanks.
I'm looking at a set of steelies on Summit's site. Their computer-generated compatibility tool says they are not compatible with a '73 Charger. They're 15x8 with a 4.5" BS, so I'm assuming the center bore is the deciding factor. Will the bigger bore matter? If so, would hub rings make...
This is a low-budget 73 Charger build (not resto)... so instead of re-skinning my crusty front buckets, I'm looking into other seats that'll be a cheap upgrade (read: springs don't poke me in the ***).
What other seats will match up to my seat rails? ...Cordoba, Satellite, post-74 Charger?
I found a Sure Grip 8 3/4 diff out of a '64 Newport. I still need to find out what case it is, but I'm assuming 742.
I have the axles and housing out of a '72 Charger. Will I encounter any issues dropping the '64 chunk into the '72 Charger housing?
Thanks.
Here's a dumb question (and proves that I should take more pictures)... When inserting the filler tube into the fuel tank, does the indicated lip on the neck butt up against the tank grommet, or does it push through to the other side of the grommet... into the tank?
Looking for shifter, levers, linkage rods and pedal assy for a 4-speed swap. Maybe even a 3-speed OD, if it's the steel housing (not aluminum)
I'll also need a BB bell housing (2892513), but that will probably have to be local due to shipping costs.
Thanks boys!
Looking for these rims with 4.5" backspacing in a 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern. Would rather not have unilugs. Hoping to find them within a couple-hour drive of NE Ohio, but may consider having them shipped.
Upon disassembly of the rear bumper assembly, I found the tail lights are held in by plastic retaining clips - three of which were broken. I was looking for them online, but am coming up empty so far. Does anyone know where I can source these?
(*edit* 1973 Charger)
Looking for decent (non-rotted) front and rear bumpers. I don't care if they're pitted or painted. Surface rust on the grill brackets is fine. Don't need the mounting brackets. Must be within a few hours of Lodi, OH 44254. Thanks.
EDIT: Found the rear. Now just need the front
So... this crusty separator on the rear of the fuel tank... what purpose does it serve? Was it designed to prevent vapor lock? Just wondering if it needs to be there, or was it an EPA thing. Do they go bad, or can I just clean it up and reinstall it. Is there a common sense bypass? ...if...
Springs were re-arched about five years ago, with new pivot bushings installed. These were the factory springs off a 68 Coronet/318. They work just fine, until you put a stronger engine in the car... which I did.:p $60, pickup only. 44254
I'll be building a 400 or 440 (don't know yet) with roughly 500HP. My '73 Charger is currently a 727, but I'll likely be converting her over to a manual.
A buddy of mine has a 3-speed manual/ OD out of a truck that I can get fairly cheap, but I'm wondering if that tranny will take that kind of...
I've had it with all the ads that cover 80% of my screen. Does getting a Gold membership eliminate them?... or most of them? Here's a picture of what my screen usually looks like - the only forum content is in red:
Good morning. I'll soon be swapping out the stock 8 1/4 for an 8 3/4 rear in my '73 Charger. I have an 8 3/4 from a '72 Charger, and I will be eliminating the iso pads. Do I need to ditch the current shock mounts and find ones from a '72? I've heard they may be different.
Also, will this...
Well it took six months, but the Charger I went to see in August is finally in the barn. The seller in Ft. Wayne and I had a handshake deal back then, but he told me there were some title issues to clean up. That took five months, so we were into January... too cold and snowy to go fetch her...
In search of a decent driver's side fender. Preferably in Ohio or a neighboring state. Dents and surface rust are fine, but prefer not to deal with rot.
