I'm in the process of making the interior of my '73 Charger.. uhh... livable. In looking through my pile-o-parts, I'm wondering how the sail panels attach. It looks like there is only one clip to hold it on. That can't possibly be true, can it? Has anyone installed these before. @Nacho-RT74
Fuel tank from 73 Charger. Doesn't appear to leak. Includes the vapor separator and sending unit. I cleaned out the inside, but will need additional cleaning. $50 Pickup in or near Lodi, OH
Gold bucket seats. All the tracks and the plastic seat backs are in good shape. The seats will need recovered. Will fit 71-74 B bodies. $350 Obviously, too bulky to ship. Pickup in or near Lodi, OH (44254)
My Charger came home with a lot of parts in boxes, and some just missing. I'm in the process of putting the interior back together, and wondering about the back seat area. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the correct order of reassembly would be:
Sail panels... package tray... side...
I have a ratty, ripped back seat on the 73 Charger. I'm thinking about replacing those with skins from another set I have from another Charger. The replacement skins are in really good shape, but I'm wondering if, during the swap process, the "new" skins might rip. (Before anyone says it, I...
***Disregard... I dug through my stack of stuff, and found a pair. ***
Color (if any) doesn't matter. Just not rotted. Like the bottom picture (w/opera windows)... Thanks
What the heck am I missing? I have a 72 rear bumper and brackets for my 73. The brackets are clearly an inch shorter, but when the assembly is mounted to the car I still have the same gap between bumper and body that I had with the 73 brackets. I'm hoping there's an obvious answer.
Black vinyl rear seat. Skins are just a couple years old and near-perfect. Padding is older and skeletons are in good shape - except one spot on the driver's side seat bottom (see circled area below). Too big to ship. Lodi, OH area $800
1973/74 Charger fender. Has a crinkle in the rear rib, but nothing that can't be straightened. Has a little bondo just in front of that rib (drilled holes). Otherwise straight and solid. No rot. I will be at Nationals on Friday. If you're interested, I can bring it with me. $350
I have a complete set of rails, including the black plastic side covers. A little rust on the feet, but nothing that can't clean up. $50 No shipping, but I can have them at Nationals next month.
A friend of mine is selling his 4WD Wrangler. 8,100 miles. Well cared for. 4 cylinder Turbo; Automatic.
Dark Grey cloth interior with denim-like stitching. Heated front seats and heated steering wheel. Touch screen controls with Apple CarPlay. WiFi equipped. Back up camera. Halo LED...
These are relatively cheap, but aftermarket companies want a day's wages to ship them. Does any have a couple of these gas vent tube grommets floating around? 68-71 B bodies, and I believe the E bodies use them too. Thanks.
I'm looking at a set of steelies on Summit's site. Their computer-generated compatibility tool says they are not compatible with a '73 Charger. They're 15x8 with a 4.5" BS, so I'm assuming the center bore is the deciding factor. Will the bigger bore matter? If so, would hub rings make...
This is a low-budget 73 Charger build (not resto)... so instead of re-skinning my crusty front buckets, I'm looking into other seats that'll be a cheap upgrade (read: springs don't poke me in the ***).
What other seats will match up to my seat rails? ...Cordoba, Satellite, post-74 Charger?
I found a Sure Grip 8 3/4 diff out of a '64 Newport. I still need to find out what case it is, but I'm assuming 742.
I have the axles and housing out of a '72 Charger. Will I encounter any issues dropping the '64 chunk into the '72 Charger housing?
Thanks.
