I have a set of cometic gaskets on my race motor. I have the head off right now and noticed the gasket covers the lower cooling holes. I have ran this set up for 2 years with no problems so I hope it's OK. Mopar/world 4.5 " bore block and Indy 440-1 heads.
My 65 727 I had rebuilt wouldn't shift into 3rd with out letting off the throttle. And it would not not shift out of third into 2nd when kicked down. The throttle kick down lever was all in at wide open throttle. So I pulled the pan and found that the deep pan and drop down filter extension. did...
I took my 64 Sport Fury for a drive around town today, and when I got back the power steering pump was too hot to touch. It 'll works good. I looked in the top, and the fluid was full. I should have shot it with my infrared thermometer, but didn't. I guess it was at least 180° f. Is that too hot?
I need some new strut rods for my 67 Belvedere. Mine are bent. Might be from pulling the front wheels off the ground. Anyhow I was just wondering who all sells them. Thanks.
67 Belvedere shimmys very bad after finish line. It's was fine but wearing front runners out quick. So I replaced worn lower control arm bushings and had it aligned. After that in the shut down at about 50 or 60 mph it shimmys bad. Levals out at 30 or so. My 1/8 mile speed is 106-107 and every...
I have too many cars to store, so this little Pickup needs a new home. It is a big back window short bed. Most 63s had the small window, making this better looking in my opinion. It is all original, except the wheels and the seat and headliner has been redone. The truck is located in southeast...
This is a car I have had for awhile and decided to sell. It runs and drives and the engine is #s matching for those of you who care. The transmission might be original too, but I didn't check. I don't think the drive train has ever been out. There is still pressure in the AC lines. My plan was...
I bought this manifold used and was told it was good, but when it got here it looked too thin on the flange. Can any body tell me that has one if it been milled down. Thanks.
Finally took the 69 road runner for a ride today. Everything runs great, until I turn it off. Then the carb starts to perculate gas like crazy. Doesn't do it cold just hot. It is a Carter AVS newly rebuilt by passions for mopars. Any ideas are appreciated.
