The car has power brakes and the pedal also gets harder when the rpms drop.
During normal driving it works...
I have a question. Did anyone ever reupholster just one seat with all the rest of the interior being old using a legendary etc. cover? (I assume legendary is the best?)
If so how did it turn out? Does it stick out like a sore thumb or is it actually hard to tell apart from the rest of the...

If the claims are true this would be pretty cool. But i'm already a bit worried because the fender tag seems to be not painted.
Asking price is 140k.
Today is a nice sunny day still a bit chilly outside without a jacket but inside a car its already getting pretty warm.
So i decided to take the charger out for the first time this year. Removed the air cleaner and injected a little bit of gas in the carburetor and it basically started right up...

While being there i bought a few clothes and also groceries that i took with me to germany. :)

Some might remember my thread from a couple months ago where i was inquring about mecum auctions.
Well guess what. I hopped on a 12h flight from munich to los angeles followed by a 5h drive to las vegas and finally attended the auction today. :D
Here are some pictures that i took today...
Just stumbled across this: Lot 1001 - 1968 Dodge Hemi Charger R/T
Depending on condition this might be the perfect car to put aftermarket A/C and daily drive. :D
First he complains that 5000$ (33% below his ask) is a rude lowball offer but then later sells the car for this exact amount to somebody else? :wtf:
Apart from that i think that offering 30% below ask isn't rude.
Because even if you are willing to spend more, you gotta start somewhere / leave...
at the Engineering Museum Sinsheim and made a couple pictures...

My favorite was this 1970 challenger from switzerland
Which according to the callouts would be a 440 six pack vehicle.
Unfortunatley i didn't think about checking the vin on the dash but the...
I just made this. I was sceptical about the banana but it tasted EXTREMELY good. The trick is to use a very ripe banana.
If you haven't, i would absolutely recommend you try.
Just found this car for sale:
https://bid.cars/en/lot/1-57231744/1970-Dodge-Challenger-JH27G0B191208
Since it's a clone i have a hard time putting a value on it.
But I feel that the current bid of $41,025 is already the upper end for a 1970 318 challenger convertible with some kind of 440...
Last week i noticed there will be a mecum auction in las vegas on october 17-19:

This would be my first...

I wouldn't bid 35k on this...
Just a heads up.
I just replaced 2 blown fuses in our 72 cutlass that looked great even after pulling them out.
I was already scratching my head what the issue is when someone recommended me testing them with a multimeter continuity test.
Turns out those visually beautiful looking fuses were...
