Let’s start a thread about things that you’ll only see in the country.
This happens in my area, and likely lots of others, once a year. It’s take your tractor to school day.
I need two of the bolts and nuts circled in red in the picture. I’m told the column is a 66 or 67 Satellite or Fury most likely, even though it’s in a Charger.
In 1968 did Dodge and Plymouth use the same steering column? I have a 68 Charger and it’s at a shop right now. Right signal would go solid when the brakes are applied. The shop says there’s no way of attaching the switch plate and are wondering if it could be a Plymouth column. This is a floor...
I have a 7300 Dremel, I've had it for several years. I can't seem to get it to take a full charge anymore. It should charge up in three hours but even after 12 hours it doesn't have enough power to run under any kind of load. Does the rechargeable battery wear out and need to be replaced?
We have flights booked for June and our return flight goes into JFK in New York. The connecting flight goes out of LaGuardia! We didn’t realize this when we booked them. So we have to get from one to the other. There are shuttle options available but I was wondering if anyone has done this...
This is on a 68 Charger with a 440. I'm removing the header to fix a leak. I did this a couple weeks ago on my Power Wagon and used a Remflex gasket as some of you recommended. I'll use the other gasket on the car. I thought I'd pull to header out the top but that didn't work. I'm hoping I can...
I started to remove a header on a 440 to fix a leak. I removed the alternator to make some room and got a clear view of the fuel filter. The car has sat since last Nov. The fuel filter is dry. I expect the fuel evaporated but could it have drained back?
No wonder these cars are so hard to start...
I have Edelbrock 60929 Performer RPM heads on a 440. Does anyone know if the header bolts go through into the water jacket like they do on stock heads? Also wondering if the alternator pivot bolt goes into the water jacket.
I had a header leak on a 440. I pulled it off and I just want clarification on a couple things. It looks to me like the PO put orange sealant between the gasket and the motor. Correct? Is that sealant red RTV? It was also on the header bolts, I’m sure so that they didn’t leak coolant.
We’re replacing wiper linkage bushings in a 74 Charger. This project started a couple months ago. We broke a couple bushings learning how to install them and we’re going to get back at it later this week with a new supply. Foolishly we didn’t take pictures when we took it apart and our wee...
I'm just curious. I was looking on Hamtramk Historical site at the paint codes for 1974. Red is E5 and black is X9 but on fender tags they're listed as FE5 and TX9. Why the difference?
We’re replacing wiper linkage bushings on a 74 Charger. We have the linkage in place between the two wiper pivots. But did we do it right? Or should that connecting linkage be on the top, circled in white, on the driver’s side. Said another way does the linkage coming from the wiper motor go on...
I'm thinking of buying an engine compression tester. Which one? Don't need something high end, I'm not an engine builder. Also, can you get these in combination with a leak down tester?
