Does anyone know what other year/make rear end/ axle assembly will fit under a '73 Satellite other than the '73-'74 Roadrunner/Satellite. I am looking for a bolt in with no mods needing to be done.

Being that I have to drop my trans pan on my A904, I want to put a shift kit in it but my question is which one. TF-TC (62-UP) TransAction Kit (Fairbanks 10430 ) or B&M 10225 - B&M Shift Improver Kit Anyone used either one and what is your opinion.

904 trans issue - no detent. My 904 tranny just started acting like it does not have a shift lever detent any longer. The car does run and shift just fine but there isn't any resistance when shifting into drive or any gear for that matter. Not sure what happened. Any ideas?? Edited to...

I have read that using a /6 904 truck converter behind a 318 w/904 will give about an 1800 stall. My question is has anyone done this and what were your results? I have access to a couple and wasn't sure if it was worth the swap.

Just a 318 but I installed a new cam and all new exhaust. The cam is a 284 duration .480 lift and the exhaust is Hedman headers with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Not too bad for a toy yet still good on gas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GEDsELuBas

I am replacing the cam in a small block 318 and don't remember if I need to index the oil pump/distributor drive gear with the cam. Logic says yes due to the distributor but I have forgot how. Been many many years since I have replaced a cam. Any help would be appreciated.
