I ordered some stuff for Michelle, and it got sent via some **** called "UniUni". WTF??
And of course...the didn't drop them off when I was out. I'm hoping the chatbot actually processed the "leave the package on the porch, cameras provide security" instructions....
So, trying to prep our Jeep TJs for long life. I'll be drilling (4) 1/2” drain holes in each frame to let mud and crap drain out (there's tons of holes in the sides of the boxed frame that let stuff in, but no bottom holes to let stuff out) and I plan to coat the insides with....something.
Any...
Snake oil, or a worthwhile job?
My driveway (asphalt, done in 2012) is starting to get some cracks. I've been trying to spot seal them to prevent water intrusion, and freeze/thaw heaving...but my neighbors just had theirs sealed and the guy gave me a quote that I think is not bad. Neighbors...
I'm asking for a Jeep application, but they make them for D60 as well so maybe someone here has experience with them. Basically they drop in, in place of the pin and spider gears, and you go from open diff to limited slip/full lock without having to pull the ring and pinion apart.
Still...
Michelle's daughter is there at a competition. 06 Durango no start, scan tool shows 11.46v. Clicks but no start, I suspect battery. FaceTime diagnosis lol. Anyone who can help with a battery test/swap please email me ASAP peglegjoe13@gmail.com. THANK YOU
Disregard. Thank you. Got it handled
So. I'm renovating one of my rentals. Bare-stud, totally fresh redo - wiring, plumbing, lighting, all of it. Drywall is hung, I'm in the mud process now, I have cabinets and fixtures ready to go in. Doors will be 2-panel design
And kitchen cabinets will be farmhouse style, painted finish...
So, I'm making progress on my rental renovation. Bathroom time. Question for builders/plumbers in the group (I'm "handy", but don't do this for a living or anything).
Toilet is about 16" from exterior wall. Cast iron pipe, not moving it. Floor drops 7/8" within 22" of the exterior wall, then...
...and I have a question. More than a few of the engine shots, of multiple small blocks, both orange and turquoise, show the water bypass hose (water pump to intake) and its clamps, painted block color.
Is this correct? Seems odd to me...but so many of them are like that, it must not be...
So, I have hardwood in my house. I had hardwood in my rental (original, 75+ years old), but a tenant (and her dog, and all the mice from her being a f'n SLOB) ruined it.
So I'm remodeling the rental.
I'm at the point I have to decide what floor covering I'm doing, so I can set cabinets (more...
So, I'm getting ready to make a trip in a (borrowed) RV - a 40' Newmar Ventana 3962 diesel, towing my '06 Wrangler behind. Heading down the east coast (I95 corridor) to the FL keys and back. Got 100 gal on board so I have options for where to stop, if pricing is significantly different from...
So, my stepdaughter is at Tech. She's got her 250k mile '08 Dakota V6 six speed manual extended cab, and it's getting...janky. Last it was here, I put a clutch in it because the disc grenaded. Did everything - disc, plate, bearing, hydraulics. Trans has started jumping out of gear, getting hard...
I thought there was a thread "show us your view" or some such, but search didn't yield any results...
This was WILD. Don't recall this ever happening here in Maryland. The dogs were a little freaked out at red in the skies, but it looked damn cool. These were taken with my phone; the Nikon DSLR...
So, this is for my Wrangler but the aftermarket "universal" kits could work on our B's as well, so I figured I'd ask - anyone ever install one on a car?
I'm looking at a Rostra kit for my Wrangler. Looks pretty straighforward - has DIP switches for number of cylinders and other settings, it...
So I'm stupid, that's a given. But I just cannot remember...
I got my charger a few years ago. Pentastar ignition key, round trunk key. Neither one unlocks the doors. I'm pretty sure on my '72, the pentastar is the doors, too, and the round is just trunk (and maybe glovebox?)...yes?
I'm...
Time's coming (at least here in the salt-and-brine-addicted northeast) to park the ol' classics for the winter and start fixin' stuff we didn't want to sideline them with during the "fun" season. We still have some great driving weather (and scenery when the leaves start to change)...but since...
I know. Not a B body...but it's a Mopar.
We're talking about driving my TJ Wrangler from MD to key West for Christmas...but with my rebuilt legs, I need cruise control. Without it, my right ankle and calf just lock up. Big metal rod in my fibula + **** circulation = massive pain within about an...
So, I have a rental duplex and one tenant has absolutely DESTROYED a unit. I won't get into all of it here as it makes my blood boil...but suffice it to say I will have all the studs exposed including the ceiling. This is an over/under duplex, not a side by side, so in order to cut noise between...
Not mine. It belongs to an ex coworker. I don't know much about it but can find out if anyone is interested.

Anyhoo, this is in my '90 Voyager turbo and I figured I'd ask here as well as on the turbo sites, to get a consensus. 3 speed non-lockup.
Van had an issue of wrong-gear starts for a while; would always start from a stop, in second. I'd drive around the problem by manually putting it in first...
So, I was working in my shop yesterday on a motorcycle. Moved some stuff around, including an old fuel tank. Apparently, I hit the lever on the petcock and opened the valve....and it dumped a good bit (I'd say over 2 gal) of stale unleaded all over the floor. Of course, it soaked into the wood...
