This turned into one of those great days that I have to share. My friends Bob and EJ sold their auto repair business last year for a heap of money to retire with. So last week I drive the Roadrunner over to EJ's place to show it off. Bob is in the shop cussing some stubborn parts off of a Subaru...
Been meaning to post this but keep getting sidetracked- do any of you guys use this? Boelube paste- been using it for years- I have 20+ year old harbor freight drill bits that are still sharp. Put it on metal cutting bandsaw blades too and be amazed at the difference.
Who has the best quarter panel skins for 68 Charger? I need skins only not full quarters. I see Goodmark- OER- Action Crash- Golden Star- is any one of those better than the other, gauge thickness etc? Paging Mr Dubb
Hey transmission experts, I have my 727 apart after the torque converter failed, cleaning it up, putting in new frictions and seals, and a TF2 shift kit.
The shift kit came with a blank orifice plug for the front clutch feed in the case, no hole in it. Should I start with a small .080 or so hole...

Doing a simple conversion on my cargo trailer installing a small kitchen and toilet room. The tanks are above the floor under the cabinets, and the low profile toilet sits directly on top of the wastewater tank. There is no need for a third graywater tank since there is no shower. The fresh...

Bought this old Singer industrial machine last year shortly after I drug the RR home. I decided that I wanted to do as much of the work on the car myself as possible, and learning new skills is a big plus too. The machine is the original walking foot design that has been copied many times over...
Looks like a solid car, comes with a nice set of seats, good dash, console, etc. Good project for somebody.

Well I do love the *** end high with fat tires look, even though doing this robbed me of most of my caster. I have offset bushings installed, but still I can only get one degree. I did the smaller diameter bolts trick on my Polara and it worked, but just seems like a hoaky way to do it.
So now...
