Hello
My 65 Coronet came with a generic disc brake kit installed long before I owned.
Have a sticking caliper now and am trying to find a pair. This part # doesn’t show on Rock Auto. I am a GM guy doing my first Mopar so not familiar with calipers. Are these A or E body?
I cannot take credit for...
Hello,
Looking for the clip from this photo that hold the e brake release rod to the mechanism
Any vendors sell these ? Not much for parts cars near me
Thanks again
Dan
Hello
I am strongly considering doing the change on my 65 Coronet. I am just not a fan of the roller.
Who has done this swap? Are you happy with it? Does the C Body bracket line up with the factory position?
Thanks again for all the help from this board, I am close to my first drive after two...
A big thanks to VanDan!
I am getting close to finishing my 65 Coronet and he was willing to crawl under his car and snap photos of the e brake routing for me!
Thanks Again!
Dan
In the mid 70’s my dad raced street or hobby stock here in central NY. One night at Fulton Raceway Ken Carter had his show there. My dad volunteered our 65 Gold Pontiac Catalina to be jumped. We had a photo of it but now lost through the years. Anyone here around then and see his show @ Fulton...
A big thanks to GTX John for sharing his Summit Racing Coupons!
I snagged a nice Holley today for my 65 500 build, it dropped the 10% with the Black Friday Deal
Dan
Hello
My 65 500 had a small floor patch put in my prior owner. It was missing the bracket or brace welded to userside of gas pedal holes. I scored the part from Joe Suchy, can someone send a quick photo of how it is spot welded underneath ?
Thanks
Dan
Hello
Getting close to driving my 65 Coronet project for the first time. I noticed slop where shifter meets the linkage and found that I am missing this clip. Anyone have one ?
Dan
Hello,
I am getting close to firing my 65 Coronet for the first time as I bought the car in pieces. Can you look at the high pressure fitting and tell me if this is stock?
Thanks
Dan
Hello
For those who follow my build you know I bought my 65 Coronet 500 as a shell.
I installed the motor and trans tonight.
Still have the original 4 speed as it was in the trunk of car when I got it so I am using it. I do not have the 2 bolts that go up through the mount into the transmission...
Hello, I am starting to assemble my 65 383 Four Speed Project and see that the brake switch is not lining up with the brake pedal
Are there switches for auto and manual?
Dan
Hello
Starting assembly after paint and ran into this issue with the trim that holds the roof weatherstripping and where it meets the vent window. Please take a look at my photos and see if this is correct. I did do the disassembly and the manual is not clear enough in the photos.
Thanks, Dan
Hello
Can someone take a look at this steering wheel gap? My car came with A/M when I got it. Found a nice original but not sure on gap? Am I missing something ?
Dan
Hello
Doing a trial fit or some parts tonight. First Mopar and didn’t do the tear down on this car.
Looks like the bushing is missing from this part of gas pedal linkage ? Is this sold by a vendor or have you improvised here ?
Van Dan? My 65 NY Neighbor ?
Also what is the 2nd part ? Was in a...
Hello
I scored qa1 strut rods for my 65 Coronet. Car is stripped for paint so no motor or fenders. Control arm is on bump stop, can struts be changed without touching torsion bars or control arms? I am GM guy and Mopar’s new to me, sorry if a stupid question
Thanks as always
Dan
