No you don't want an old van ... regardless of the make ... nobody likes these things ... they were all scrapped out and turned into sheds, chicken coops and Toyotas and Datsuns ... did I just date myself? Will that be cash or CHARGEX .... lol ... WHY ... parts are unique and hard or impossible...

Well ... good point ... the springs need to be tweaked ... the passenger rear inverted after sitting for all these years and drivers side flat ... re-arching in these parts is $650 + taxes ... at least where I inquired so ... I think I'd be ahead to replace ... appreciate your input

K ... now that I know what a front eye hangar is ... thanks! ... vertical learning curve here ... at least I don't have to deal with rust issues ... the crate was from CDN desert ... drier than a popcorn fart ... just wire brush the crud and liquid wrench ... all good to go ... I suspect U bolts...
How hard is that to do? ... would I need new shackles? ... can't seem to locate a new set of rear springs ... these are getting as soft and inverted as my own at this age ... lol .... local shop wants $700 bucks to re-arch and I RE and Re ... something wrong with that ...

Well after about 1 k miles on old crate there are some rude noises coming from the clutch ... I suspect dried out and crispy after 48 Years ... they don't make parts like they used to ... lol! I am not afraid ... my ex was worse than this clutch will ever be ... at least when I put money into it...
