    How close do the date codes need to be if I were to buy the correct Dana rear end? Does the Dana mount up the exact same way as the 8 3/4? Why would some one swap out the Dana for a 8 3/4 Thanks

    1967 GTX Rear End Dana or 8 3/4 sure grip

    This question is for the Mopar experts on 1967 GTX 4 speed cars. Do ALL 1967 GTX's with a 4 speed come from the factory with a Dana rear end? It has been suggested that if a certain gear ratio was wanted it had to come in a 8 3/4 Sure Grip. Does anyone know. Thanks
