I think I can carry a pallet (3500 pounds) in the back of my truck. I was hoping someone would know the weight over the rear axle of this truck empty - save me a trip to the Cat scale.
Yes, on the vehicle ID sticker GVWR is 9,000 pounds. But, also on same sticker GAWR front is 4,750 and GAWR...
Have an 07 2500 5.9 Cummins, Auto, crew cab, 6 foot bed
Anyone know about how much weight is on rear axle with truck empty?
Need to move 7,000 pounds and would rather rent a smaller trailer and put some tile in the bed
Thanks
I have an 07 2500 ram. It looks like the clear is deteriorating . Getting splotchy spots on hood and roof. Truck is kept outside. I think the Arizona sun is the cause of this. Its a low mileage, 80K with 5.9 Cummins so I don't want to sell. So, is it possible to get factory durability from an...
I used to do a lot of business with a company called Big-O. Pretty popular tire dealer here in Tucson 30 years ago or so. I used them for their life of tire warranty. Don't remember the specifics of the warranty but basically if any Big-O brand tire fails for any reason you get a new one. Had...
I won't wear the tires out. The tires Im replacing are about 13 years old and have 2500 miles. BFG/TA's. Fronts still look new; not so much for the rears.
I'm going to return these to Summit.
Yes they are MT's Sportsman S/T tires.
I have a set for the front also but the cracking around the blue stuff is not nearly as bad. Got the fronts from Jegs.
I did not know they were the same as the Coopers.
The local guy here at Discount said he could not get MT any more that's why I did...
Wanted to go with a different brand tire other than BFG Radial TA so bought tires from Summit.
I spoke with Summit rep before purchase and she told me they rotate out their tires every 90 days - so I bought 2 rear tires in 275/60/15
One tire was manufactured in Nov 22 and the other March 23

68 Charger with late model master cylinder. Brake fluid seeping from filler cap.
At first only aft cap seep so I swapped the caps. Now seep from front and rear.
I removed some fluid from front and back reservoir. Cap seals are good but still leaks from both.
Also brakes don't feel normal - they...
Car is a 68 Charger with factory 3 speed wiper motor. The wipers have not been operated for at least 20 years, however, I had the motor rebuilt (Jules did the work) before I reinstalled on the car many years ago. Currently dash is out to facilitate other maintenance so I thought this would be a...
Car is a 68 Charger. I removed the instrument cluster and surrounding trim to gain access to windshield wiper mechanism. I found this on drivers side floor this morning. it was partially wrapped in electrical tape. The tape is old and pretty much just fell off. When I removed the instrument...
I want to run a wire from alt to battery and I want to run it under the intake manifold. 511 stroker with Holley Street Dominator manifold.
Car has Sniper and Hyperspark. This adds a lot of additional wires under the hood. Its Easy enough to run a wire along valve cover to firewall but it just...
Bought new 15x8 Wheel Vintiques with a 4.5" backspace. When I checked the backspacing on the wheel and my figure is 4 3/4". The pic shows where Im measuring from. Am I missing something here or are the rims actually 4 3/4 ?
I went with QA1 uppers on my 68 Charger. Absolutely worth it I think I got to about 4.5 and 5. Night and day difference. Then I put a Borgson box in it. Incredible difference. My other car (69 GTX) is all stock. I did the entire front end to include a Firm Feel level 2 rebuild of the factory...
I put mine on passenger floor as high up and as close to trans tunnel as possible. This is not an MSD box but ECU for FI. Its out of the way and I didn't have to cut any holes in the firewall because the wire output side was close to existing hole in firewall. Car is a 68
