Hello extended family. Some of you all may have known this moment was coming, some, not so much. On Halloween, Deb became my wife. Amazingly enough, she didn't run. On hand were our families and a few friends. Standing up with us are our daughters, Nikol, Ashton and Bailey...
Well, she's gone.
I've been involved with her since '99. She survived my first marriage, two versions of her 340 and a 440/4spd swap. I will always have a place for her in my heart, but she's moving on to a family that will love her and take her to the level she deserves.
My beloved 73 Road...
So, I had this surface stuff going on in the trunk of my bird. After reading some posts and a bugger of a search, I picked up some Ospho to treat the ugly. That stuff works great. I just have to do some priming and painting now.
I guess I should mention the big reason I'm selling my Roadrunner.
I asked the question that I didn't think I would ever ask again. I made a little tag and attatched it to Dinga Roo's collar and just when Deb was gonna get pissed about me getting a pretty for one dog and not the other two...
Well kids, it's time. I got too many things going on and I gotta cut loose of my car. So here she is, a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner. A real Road Runner, not a clone. Originally a 340/auto, now with 440/4speed. She still has her 8.75 rear with 3.23 open rear. The front end has been rebuilt with...
Was perusing the smiley icons and noticed one that said "rev_in_action".:rev_in_action:
Deb and I were rolling. I am immortalized on FBBO. Either that, or I am gaining a reputation.......
So, messing around in my garage I came up with a cheep solution for the squishy T Bar crossmember bushing on the later B cars. I had a set of solid bushing for a first gen Camaro laying around and thought to myself, "what the hell". I made a sleeve out of some extra aluminum I had to fit inside...
Okay, so I didn't want to hijack someone else's thread.
Here's my thing. I have been looking at mig welders for some time now. We have a couple in the shop that I can and have used, but I am by no means a great welder. I was trained on Oxy/Acetalyne decades ago, so I have some understanding of...
So, it's coming up on six in the morning. Christmas day. I haven't even started my coffee a brewing yet. I should probably tend to it. My girlfriend and I are past the waking up to crumbsnatchers chomping at the bit to tear apart what's under the tree. This day isn't as shiney as it used to be...
So, I have heard that some flywheels have bolt on weights for cast crank engines. (440 Source, Hays?) Anybody seen this? Even better, anybody got a picture? (I'm solving some vibration issues on my 440/4spd conversion).
OK, this is for you numbers guys.
I got a friend looking at buying a 69 Charger. It's a builder for sure.
The question is in the VIN.
It starts with XP29J9B. Which from what I can tell, says it's a regular model Charger with a Hemi. Plus it was originally a 4speed car.(Currently has a...
Hey Dudes and Dudettes,
I need help with a pair of upper control arms I have in my garage. They are big ball joint arms, but I don't remember if they came off of an A body or an E body. Is there any way to tell the difference? Is there a chart somewhere? I don't see a number on them, but they...
