WTB Looking for Window channel felt

Another place to look is DMT. Don't know about the quality of their cat whiskers but I've been happy with other items I've purchased from them. https://www.detroitmuscletechnologies.com/beltline-weatherstrips-cat-whiskers/

    Dead Cylinders

If a carb issue I would try the following: With the engine (barely) running, I'd spray some gumout in the carb barrel that feeds the 1/2 of the dual plane that feeds those cylinder(s). I believe it is the right side when looking at the engine from frt to rear. If only running on 4 cylinders...

    Dead Cylinders

@diesel_lv: No problem, mate. Neither you or I are there so we don't know the situation 100%.

    Dead Cylinders

Well I'd say to check the usual suspects. Look at the offending plugs (which you said you changed but see if they are 'wet'), look at the wires, look even more importantly at the cap. Weird as it may sound my Dart (which I wedged a 383 into) would develop an internally arcing cap. Granted it...

    Dead Cylinders

How did it run before the carb rebuild? If like crap then was the carb rebuild part of the troubleshooting process? If it ran fine, did you do/touch anything else? If not, did you check for vacuum leaks. If so, what exactly was done?

    Good Score? I'd Say So!

What Is VIN Swapping? Recreating a Wrecked Road Runner

I thought this was an interesting take... Disagree about the B pillar being a bolt in though. https://www.hotrod.com/articles/vin-swapping-recreating-wrecked-road-runner/?fbclid=IwAR2MTSoj8a7UF7Y-pLpCqPJ0CYOSzGFtUEufUPTcLhtkheY7m0kfzCJxOt4

Choices Of Sealant When Installing Exhaust Studs? (a Mopar newbie)

Age old (and valid) question which will probably prompt a TON of replies and opinions. The below is my reponse from an old thread about the same question: "I use Rectorseal tplus2 sealant ( http://www.rectorseal.com/rectorseal-t-plus-2/). I used it due to the info about it: "RectorSeal® T...

    Never Toss The Box!

I never knew. Thanks for the tip. Makes me glad that I kept the box for my M1 Garand from Springfield Armory.

    Mopar Action

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would revive it due to the fact that I received a newer (Jun 17) copy in the mail just yesterday. Thinking perhaps I had one too many the night before I did a double take and yes, it is a new edition. They fired the website back up too...

Looking at a 68 sport satellite

Is that a hole in the B pillar? The one just to the left side of the window?

Looking at a 68 sport satellite

Well Gobie, here is my 2 cents. Those with more knowledge may be able to better answer some of your questions but that is why we come here, right? ;-) Anyway...without a fender tag, to my knowledge, it will be hard to know 100% sure what the car came with out of the factory. Only exception...

    Roadrunner 383 Lifter Tick

If the rocker assy is stock (meaning the stamped rocker arms mounted on a rocker shaft), then the rocker shaft bolts should be torqued to 25 to 30 ft lbs.

    383 Head Gasket Recomendations

For what it is worth: The Fel-pro perm-a-torq's, while nice, dropped the compression a bit too much for my liking since I have the open chambered 452 heads. So I went with the Mopar Performance steel shim head gaskets which compress down to .020. Got them from Summit, coated them with some...

    Replacing torsion bar crossmember bushings

Which bushings? Lower control arm? upper? strut rod? In any event: Yes, you need to unload the suspension of the weight.
