Thanks again, great info. Let me reciprocate - found a site just for 440's and they have a page on the history and what to look for.
http://store.440source.com/ here is the history portion http://www.440source.com/blockinfo.htm
I currently have a 340 in my Charger, I recently purchased a 440 that needs lots of TLC. Would the starter that I have work for the 440? What information should I look for on the current starter and (if need be) the new one?
By the way, I'm not very mechanical.
Thanks,
Chad
curious question -
is there a way to know for sure if the radio was the original one by the serial numbers and to cross check in some book? I am not tracking when you reference an "A Track", what is that?
I also have a 1969 Charger, but I thought there was only one type of radio in production...
That would be the one I search for, if you run across it please send it my way.
Thanks again

I have a 1969 Charger, and since I have had it I have been trying to find a reproduction of the buildsheet.
The major flaw in my slaw is that the fender tag is missing. I have done the following to seek further knowlege - looked through numerous postings of found buildsheets; posted same...

Possesed Glovebox
I have a '69 Charger, the glove box 'pops' open once it shifts past 1st gear. I tried to move the lock into different positions but it happens over and over.
Any thoughts what might be causing it to do this?
Thanks,
