It is a manual 3 speed with the shifter on the steering column that I’m currently changing to a manual 4 speed on the floor. I apologize but any parts coming off this vehicle are already spoken for and going to a project that a good friend is trying to get together.
Acworld34,
Who is ACC? I just ordered mine not long ago from Classic Industries. Really not happy with it. It seems poor quality compared to original carpet.
So I bit the bullet and I’m converting my ‘74 Satellite 318 from a 3 on the tree to a 4 on the floor. I had seen a newer part offered in the Classic Industries catalog 68-76 column shifter eliminator. I’m not interested in replacing the entire column with an aftermarket one. So I’m looking for...
Wow, that’s great to hear that it worked out for you. That pic is of what came out of one of my seat tracks. I haven’t even taken apart the other 3 yet. I wonder what the odds would be for me to find some in a salvage yard here in south eastern Wisconsin? Oh well, I guess the search is on for...
Those look to be about correct but I think the retainers that hold the bearings in my seats are metal, and I’m also missing a roller that goes with the bearings and retainer.
Hello everyone, I’m looking to re-do my bucket seat tracks and I’m in search of the rollers and bearings. Just wondering where to find them and what years and cars used the same parts for the bucket seat tracks. All I found was up to 70. I’m sure finding the tracks would be easier as a whole...
So I’ve had a set of bucket seats out of a 73RR for quite awhile. I’m finally getting around to re-doing them and now I realize that one of the tracks is missing a roller and some bearings. Is there any place to get rebuild or replacement parts for bucket seat tracks. I’ve searched, but the only...
Totally agree. I’m swapping out my
3-on the -tree/ bench seat for buckets and
4- on the- floor with a pistol grip also. I’m working with brewers performance for what parts I need. Honestly I guess what I was asking was if the rear mount was possible w/o a counsel to get carpet and all because...
If that pushes the shifter back from the front mounting location, how does it utilize the rear mounting location? Does that plate bolt to both locations and the shifter then mount to the plate? I apologize for my lack of knowledge.
Hello everyone. Just curious if any 73/74’s
RR/ Satty’s used the rear shifter mounting location on the tail shaft for a 4spd? Not sure if 71/72’s are the same. I have a 74 Satty that I’m in the beginning stages of converting to a 4spd, bucket seat,
NO council. Ordered the tunnel from Brewers...
