    65 Radiator Tank Seam Splits

The systems used a 13 lb cap. I just installed my 3rd new one. No head gasket leak issues either way. Engine is relatively new with ~6k on it and professionally assembled. Over flow is not clogged.

I'm having an issue with my top tank seam splitting in my Coronet. This is the second radiator, and the fourth time it's happened. And I found another one on eBay same problem. Poly 4bbl "Wind Tunnel" dual plane intake manifold

I'm having some clearance issues, but I have a QuickFuel 750 that requires a spacer. There's another version of the first photo that plucked chicken posted that shows the overall setup heights. With a Carter type carb, your clearance should be good.

    65 Coronet Heater Woes

I had a problem a couple of years ago with a leaking heater control valve...basically if you got anywhere close to the fun side of 3 grand, is would pi$$ on your right foot. So I pulled the heater box and worked on solving the problem. Since a convertible doesn't really need heat, I left it out...

    65 Coronet & 275/60/15's on Rear

I wasn't sure if this should be posted in the tires section but it's 62-65 specific. I'm getting ready to buy Magnum 500's for my 65 Coronet 500 'vert. I test fit 275/60/15's on 8" wheels, but I only have 3/4" between the outer sidewall & the outer face of the wheelwell. Because of this, I'm...

    65 coronet rear tires

I recently had my friend's 275/60/15's on the back of my 65 Coronet Convertible. The wheels were 15x8 chrome Magnum 500's w/ 4'5" backspacing. The tires cleared all around, and did not rub. I drove them for ~ 1week, but there was only ~5/8" between the outer wheel well and the tire. I was scared...
