Good to know.
Last rebuild on this engine was 12 years ago.
We all know how parts have gotten worse because of cheap labor and parts suppliers consolidation.
Last night I got the connecting rod bearings installed and torqued, put the pickup tube back in and then new Comp cam.
Today its the timing gear. Decided to advance the cam to .03 for better low-end torque.
Must have had some luck on my side. No bent push rods.
Some parts started to arrive while I begin working on prepping the engine bay for paint and cleaning up parts.
My wiring needs some help.
Can't believe it's been more than six years since I last posted on FBBO. Time sure fly's as you get older.
Been spending most my time over on FCBO, posting and doing some build threads. Also been putting on the annual C Body Show at Volo since 2017. The big Mopars may not be for everyone, but...
I just ordered the Cardone unit from Summit yesterday for $117 + $50 Core price, but it's on back order til April 9th.
Has anyone purchased this unit and have had problems with it?
WTB left and right 1970 Dodge Coronet plastic grill inserts.
Looking for decent quality, but also interested in less than perfect grills as long as there are no broken/missing pieces and if they are not warped.
PM me.
Thanks B Bodies Only!
WTB left & right plastic grill inserts for my 1970 Dodge Coronet.
Good quality pieces is what I'm hoping for, but if what you have need need some repair, that'll do as well as long as they're not warped or have broken/missing pieces.
PM me.
Thanks B Bodies Only!
