    I'm looking at a 1973 challenger with a 340. It is supposed to be numbers matching motor. shouldn't part of the number stamped on the drivers side head match last last part of the VIN? It says J 340 and then 7 numbers that have no resemblance to the VIN number of the car.

    68 coronet fuel guage

    Pulled the 68 out of storage today and the fuel guage isn't working. It worked when I put it away. I pulled the wire of the sending unit and cleaned it up, nothing. I'm getting 70 ohms on the sensor with about 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank. looks like 2.5 volts in the wire. When I turn the key the...

    906 heads

    I want to buy a 440 to rebuild to put in my 68 Coronet. This is just a street car..not a racer. I have found 2, one is a 68 and one is a 72. both have 906 heads. Are the 906 heads a good head?
